Habema's Social Communication Was Happily Welcomed By The Dal Residents 

NDUGA - One of the military units under the command of the Indonesian Armed Forces Operational Command HABEMA, the Task Forces of the Para Raider Infantry Battalion 432/Waspada Setia Jaya Kostrad, is currently conducting mobile security at the border of Indonesia and Papua New Guinea, especially in Nduga Regency, Papua Pegunungan Province. On Monday, 26 August 2024, the Dal Post, led by Captain Syarif Al Martadha, the Deputy Commander of the 432 Task Forces, conducted a Patrol by visiting and greeting residents in the Dal Village, Dal District. The Patrol Team Commander during the patrol was First Lieutenant Bremen Tomy Pandu.

On Monday, the Commander of Satgas Yonif 432 Kostrad, Lieutenant Colonel Inf Zulfikar Akbar Helmi, delivered a powerful message to the Soldiers on Patrol. He urged them to see their assignment as an opportunity for positive action, not just a routine task. Inspired by this call to action, the Soldiers demonstrated their creativity and initiative by engaging in Social Communication (Komsos) and distributing free Bibles to the Dal residents gathered at the Dal Kasih Church.

While the primary focus of the Patrol was on security, the Soldiers took the opportunity to engage the residents in communication. The warm reception from the Dal residents clearly indicated the success of the Komsos initiative. The distribution of free Bibles during the Komsos was also met with great enthusiasm. Mr Seeni Gwijangge, the Chairman of the Dal Kasih Church Board, expressed his gratitude, saying, "Thank you for the free Bibles, Commander 432. God bless".

After receiving the activity report, the HABEMA Commanding General, Brigadier General Lucky Avianto, acknowledged the 432 Task Forces’ initiative to communicate socially with Dal residents by distributing free Bibles. His words: "The 432 Task Forces' initiative is a testament to TNI's commitment to conduct inclusive Social Communication with all parties to support the acceleration of development in the Papua region." This acknowledgment from the highest authority in HABEMA underscores the importance of such initiatives and their impact on the region's development.
